Very popular spot, definitely make a reservation. Came here for lunch on a Saturday and while the restaurants around are all empty, this place was getting packed and everyone had a reservation. Might have to do with the fact that this Italian restaurant is halal. Solid spot for food. It won't blow your mind away but you will leave full and satisfied. Portions are on the larger side. Service was not over the top but speedy and efficient. The mango smoothie is more on the yogurt-y side in case that helps anyone.

We had the Risotto and Pasta and it was so good. However, the 8-pocket pizza was just ordinary - kinda disappointed that it didn't taste as good as it look. The staff service is very good too. We will definitely return to try other dishes.

Mangia! Mangia! Positano Risto..... I have been wanting to go to Positano Risto for awhile eversince I am back. Thankfully on that Sunday, my relative and I decide to meet here for Lunch who I have not met for the past 12 years. From the Menu, there will be definitely something for everyone palate. From the conversation I shared with my Relative, she has been to this establishment before. She likes it, and thankfully I liked it too. We shared the Calamari as our appetizers and the Pizza as our Main Entree. At Positano, they call their Pizza as Calzone.. We also ordered the Beverages listed in their Menu. They do provide dining area upstairs. We are lucky to grab the seats on the ground level on that particular Sunday. Positano is an air-conditioned eatery which is definitely good in my books. There are ample street parking available but during the weekends this area tends to get or be very busy. Hence plan accordingly. The Calamari batter are just fine, tasted "tempura-ish" from an Italian eatery and definitely its fried to order. Its piping hot! It comes with an aioli dipping sauce of some kind. The way they design the dough of the Pizza aka Calzone, is "unique', NOT the round or square or rectangle pizza found in many eateries in town. The toppings are generous but on that day, it is definitely loaded with Arugula. If I am NOT mistaken, our Pizza order was named as Positano Super Supreme Calzone (SG$29.95). It was a Tomato Sauce based and consisted of Turkey Ham and Beef Pepperoni. The Calzone is topped with Burrata and Parmesan Cheese. While each 8 corners of handcrafted "pockets" are filled with Mushrooms and Beef Pastrami. I will return in a heartbeat coz there are other items in their Menu in which I want to try and craved for. Since downstairs aka the Ground Level, can be crampy to some, when it is filled it tends to get loud to have a proper conversations at Positano. But I am here for the Pizza and the Calamari! THANK GOD finally I found an eatery that I like for their Pizza and Calamari! Thank you Positano. I shall see you soon when time and schedule permits. **DOUBLE YAY** Indeed I am A FAN for this Halal Certified Muslim Owned establishment in town along Bussorah St!
